Feng Hanying becomes national director of Beijing Genelec Audio

CHINA: Beijing Genelec Audio Co Ltd (BGA), the wholly owned subsidiary of Finnish reference monitor specialist Genelec, has named Feng Hanying as its new national director with responsibility for sales, marketing and business development. The appointment came into effect on April 1st, 2012.
Mr Feng joined BGA in May 2011, initially as a technical manager and recording consultant. However, his fast rise through the company should come as no surprise. Having graduated in 2006 with a master’s degree in recording, the engineer has won a number of awards both inside and outside of China for his work in the recording field. Prior to his arrival at BGA, between 2007 and 2011, he worked as a recording engineer at the National Grand Theatre.
Following his appointment, Mr Feng commented: ‘It’s been 30 years since Genelec arrived in China and I am very pleased to be able to serve this well known brand. I will try my best to support it in one of the fastest developing markets in the world.’
