20,000 lumens from 40 per cent smaller Titan Super Quad

Digital Projection has launched the latest addition to its Titan projector range – the 20,000 Lumens Titan Super Quad. The manufacturer claims the new product is ‘at least 40 per cent smaller than any other comparable projector’ and cites its 40kg weight as ‘60kg less some of its closest competitors’. It is also described as the ‘quietest projector in its class on the market’.

The Titan Super Quad features four long life lamps offering up to 8000 hours life. The liquid cooling and Dynamic Thermal Control, including 18 fans, are all individually regulated. This means that the projector can be mounted in any position, in any environment, as it will will automatically adjust itself.

Other features include Multinode Warp and edge blending capabilities, with multiple channel memories and black level uplift, plus 3D with HDMI 1.4 and a refresh rate of up to 160Hz, dual DVI inputs and 3G-SDI. Finally, an intelligent lens mount offers image positioning memories across the whole lens range from 0.67 to 11.2:1.
