5000 Series promises flexible install and easy operation

The latest five-strong, mid-range projector series from Hitachi is promising users simple operation and flexible installation options with performance specs including 5,500 lumens brightness and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio.
All five models feature integrated edge blending and warping software that can be run simultaneously, allowing several units to be combined into a larger array. HDBaseT compatibility is also built-in, opening the projectors up for use in environments with long-distance cable runs. Additional connectivity options include LAN, HDMI, analogue, and an HDMI Out option allowing two units to show the same content simultaneously.
For image optimisation, the units feature High Dynamic Contrast Range (HDCR) and Hitachi’s Accentualizer technology, which compensates for ambient light and can reportedly also counteract the loss of brightness or clarity over time. Instant Stack enables one projector to be placed atop a second in overlaying a projection for additional brightness.
