AJA’s first standalone streaming device

Helo is an HD/SD H.264 streaming and recording device, which marks AJA Video Sytems’ inaugural standalone streaming product. The manufacturer has designed Helo to allow the streaming of video signals to web content delivery networks while simultaneously recording to SD cards, USB drives or network storage.

Helo features dedicated record and stream buttons to enable easy operation and is portable, facilitating new streaming workflow possibilities for HOWs. Including inputs and outputs for both 3G-SDI and HDMI, the device can process 1080p-recording formats, and is built with a simple web-based UI. The device possesses dual RCA jacks for audio monitoring and embedded audio support, along with a second USB port that is used to configure a static/dynamic IP address and to install firmware updates.
