Alcorn McBride updates to 8-TraXX

The 8-TraXX is an updated version of Alcorn McBride’s audio playback unit, now offering Ethernet control and remote update along with contact closure, voltage, RS-232 or MIDI control.
With the 8-TraXX, users can reportedly access eight independent stereo tracks from a single rack-mount unit. Each track can be individually triggered by its own contact closure or voltage discrete input allowing direct connection to proximity sensors or switches. Remote updating is made possible via Ethernet and the 8-TraXX stores clips in MP3 format on Compact Flash for which all eight tracks are completely independent.
