Alto Professional has described its MixPack 10 portable PA system as designed for ‘high performance and utility’. The 400W system comprises a pair of full-range enclosures with 10-inch woofers plus a detachable 8-channel powered mixer.
Other features on the mixer include four XLR plus ¼-inch mic/line inputs,
two stereo line inputs (¼-inch and RCA), 2-band EQ per-channel, switchable digital reverb and phantom power on channels one to four and EQ presets for speech and music playback. Storable speaker cables are also included.
Also new is Spectrum, an active Bluetooth-capable portable PA intended for both live performance and karaoke applications, and incorporating dual LED arrays to present five preset lighting displays.
A two-way, 200W bi-amplified system housed in a 212mm x 740mm x 257mm enclosure, Spectrum incorporates three 6.5-inch woofers and a 1-inch HF compression driver for a reported range of 65 to 20kHz. The amplifier delivers 130W to the woofers and 70W to the tweeter, while thermal and dynamic overload protection is onboard. The integral 3-channel mixer offers two band EQ on each channel. Meanwhile, the lighting component is formed of two LED arrays positioned to the left and right of the woofers and running the length of the cabinet. Users can choose from five customisable modes and also adjust the brightness.
