Alto releases ZMX122FX console with built in effects

Alto Professional is shipping a number of new products including the ZMX122FX eight-channel console with built-in effects. The two-bus mixer comes with four microphone inputs, balanced TRS jacks (two with Phantom Power), and a three-band EQ, whilst aux sends are available on each bus to provide audio playback.

With 24-bit Alesis DSP effects built into the ZMX122FX, room and space delays, small and large hall acoustics, plate and spring reverbs, flangers, and chorus effects can be accessed. 16 variations of all 16 effects are available, and a footswitch provides the bypassing of all effects at the touch of a button.

A whole new catalogue of portable and fixed installation speakers have also been developed by the US brand, including the TS112W and TS115W two-way 12- and 15-inch models. Capable of producing 400W of continuous Class-D power and a maximum SPL of 125-126 dB, the Truesonic Wireless speakers have the ability to play audio from any Bluetooth audio-equipped device such as an iPad, iPod touch, iPhone or other smart phone.

In addition, both speakers incorporate two female mic/line XLR/ ¼-inch combo inputs with independent gain for use in traditional wired PA applications. The 400W rated TS115A 15-inch model is an active model in the same series.

Finally, The Stagedrive+ is a 1U rack-mountable speaker management controller that provides a 3-way stereo, 3-, 4-, 5-, or 6-way mono crossover and distribution system with six outputs.

Stagedrive+ can be controlled via a PC or Midi remote control and comes with 10 factory presets, which can store up to 64 user presets internally or 128 presets on a memory card. Bessel, Butterworth and Linkwitz/Riley crossover filters on the Stagedrive+ deliver up to 48 dB /octave filtering, whilst each monitoring channel includes a noise gate at the input stage and limiter at the output stage. A delay line on each channel allows for precise time alignment, and each input and output is equipped with parametric EQ so every nuance of each speaker can be managed effectively in one convenient place.
