Analog Way has unveiled Smart Edge: an edge blending system with universal analogue and digital input/output and full high resolution digital processing.
The unit features 10 universal analogue inputs including two fitted with DVI and two fitted with HD-SDI. It outputs digital and analogue signals in SDI, DVI and VGA (RGBHV). A selection of formats from HDTV to computer 2K will enable users to match the resolution of the display device.
Multi-screen edge blending can be achieved by linking up to three units, resulting in panoramic images. The unit can be controlled from its own front panel as well as from RK-300, TRK-800, Axion2 and Orchestra remote consoles, and from the Analog Way software provided. It can be updated with new features and is equipped with TCP/IP and RS-232.
