Analog Way LiveCore delivers two A/V processors

Analog Way has unveiled a new generation of A/V signal processing and distribution systems based on its latest LiveCore platform and specifically designed for both the system integration and rental and staging markets.

NeXtage 16 is a seamless switcher with dedicated live processing, designed with rugged hardware and a reinforced chassis for demanding live events. Equipped with eight seamless inputs and two outputs, it offers 28 input plugs, by combining four HDMI, six DVI-D, two DisplayPort, eight 3G-SDI and eight universal analogue.

NeXtage 16 offers 16 scalers and digital processing. It includes four independent true seamless layers per output, in addition to an independent Native Background layer included for soft edge-blending or individual screen modes. The switch between any of the 28 input plugs can reportedly be operated in instant Clean Cut.

The switcher also offers connectivity through an SFP Cage to receive a large choice of optical SFP modules per output, for which the device can handle any source from composite video, up to 2560x1600 (DVI Dual-Link available). It also outputs a variety of formats, including HDTV and computer format up to 2560x1600.

SmartMatriX Ultra is a 12 x 4 scaled native matrix, providing A/V connections through 12 true seamless inputs and 42 plugs. It combines six HDMI, nine DVI-D, three DisplayPort, 12 3G-SDI and 12 universal analogue.

With two independent seamless scaled layers per output, SmartMatriX Ultra provides dedicated live processing for presentations. Two units can be linked, with inputs and outputs shared and added, resulting in a 24 x 8 scaled seamless matrix. Both scaled layers per output can be controlled individually in time and transition while all layers are uniformly considered, so that any source can be fully resized. Up to 50 frames and 50 logos can be stored in the device memory via a USB plug.

Meanwhile, in Mixer mode, sources can be mixed and switched, using PIPs and transitions without restriction, whilst the front panel comes with a large TFT colour display with a new GUI allowing the monitoring of sources directly on the screen.

Both devices also provide a full preview with all PIPs available as well as customisable live source mosaic monitoring on an independent output. Finally, with the manufacturer’s new web-based Remote Control Software, NeXtage16 and SmartMatriX Ultra can be controlled via the internet or the front panel.
