Apart revamps with new launches

A complete new series of Apart power amplifiers has been added to the manufacturer’s existing amplifier range. The Revamp series consists of five new power amplifiers designed with as few front controls as possible and a wealth of pre defined settings.
Beginning with the Revamp2250, this is a professional two-channel digital power amplifier boasting a 2x250W output at 4-ohms, but is also bridgeable (1x500W at 8-ohms). The amp’s DSP operates with a push button at the back of the unit, used to select one of the six preset operating modes.
Next is the Revamp2600, a 2RU professional two-channel power amplifier with a 2x600W output power at 4-ohms. The combination of Class-H technology with a traditional power transformer for the analogue power supply manifests itself into a power output of 2x840W.
As with the Revamp2250, the DSP inside operates with a push button at the back of the unit to select an operating mode. This mode is particularly suited for applications that require a lot of power in two different zones.
Key to its appeal is an intelligent variable speed-cooling fan, while the Revamp2600 also temporally decreases the output power to a safe limit whenever a thermal overload occurs (indicated by an LED light on the front panel).
Moving on to the Revamp1680, this is a professional 16-channel digital power amplifier boasting a 16x80W output power at 4-ohms, although the unit is also bridgeable to 8x160W at 8-ohms. It is worth noting that the standby power consumption is less than 0.5W, while the switching mode standby power supply includes multiple auto power on/off options.
The fourth and fifth new models comprise the Revamp4120T and Revamp4240T – professional four-channel digital power amplifiers boasting 4x120W and or 4x240W, respectively, although both are bridgeable to 2x240W – (Revamp4120T) or 2x480W (Revamp4240T).
These amplifiers are aimed applications with four zones in mono, two zones in stereo or even bridged dual mono or bridged stereo systems, and contain an intelligent variable speed cooling fan that only will be activated when needed. In order to match each input to its respective source the input sensitivity can be adapted to a user’s needs.
Also new from Apart is the Vinci4 low impedance 4-inch bass reflex speaker and the CM6TSMF, a 100V 6.5-inch ceiling speaker. Designed for fixed install and residential applications, the Vinci4 (available in black or white) can be mounted on a wall or against a ceiling with the Vinci5Bra wall mount bracket.
Meanwhile, the CM6TSMF has been designed with safety in mind, and as such is an all-metal fireproof speaker with a quick-fit metal mounting system and a 100 per cent air-tight back can, enabling the speakers to maintain the air separation between above and below the ceiling material.
The CM6TSMF has been designed primarily for background music and spoken message distribution, and can be used for vocal announcements, evacuation systems and in hallways, boutiques and shops and boardrooms and offices.
Apart has also added the AudioControl12.8 feature pack to AudioControl12.8, the manufacturer’s DSP powered audio matrix for small and medium sized audio applications. By adding the AudioControl12.8 feature pack it is possible to integrate extra features such as message player, logic inputs and outputs, output delay and zone combining.
