Armonía Audio Suite expanded with greater system control

Originally debuted back in 2009 to provide customers with a suite of remote control and system monitoring tools, the latest version of Powersoft’s Armonía Audio Suite (2.5.0) increases communication between the speakers and amplifiers to provide greatly levels of system control.

Two amplifier models in particular benefit from the update. A new interface provides control over advanced features of the manufacturer’ X Series, including the matrix, speaker routing and redundancy priorities. Control of parameter setting, preset bank management, group information and partial preset locking has also been introduced for the new DigiMod DSP-D modules.

A new software component called LivingWorkpace has been integrated into the suite. The tool reportedly provides smarter control and monitoring of complex systems by providing a complete overview of a system on the workspace. Information about signal presence, muting, gain reduction and clipping are displayed onscreen , and link and alarm states are viewable by referencing the amplifiers’ icons.

Armonía ProManager, the software specifically designed to configure IK Series amplifiers, has also received an update. The program now allows OEM loudspeaker manufacturers to make their products available in the suite as a custom brand.
