ARX caters to digital and analogue with USB DI Plus

ARX aims to offer solutions to both USB digital and analogue interface needs with its USB DI Plus audio converter. A successor to the first USB DI, the product features a dual mode audio input interface with both digital and analogue options and is designed to be two DIs in one system.
In analogue mode, the USB DI Plus provides both L and R 6.5mm as well as broadcast quality Amphenol mini jack socket inputs. No batteries or phantom power is required for use. Meanwhile, the digital mode offers a standard USB type B port with built in 24-bit high resolution digital to analogue 44.1/48kHz converter. Moreover, it installs as a fully compatible ‘plug and play’ USB audio device and requires no special driver programme installation. Digital mode also powers off the USB connection. In addition, both left and right outputs feature ground lift and mono mode switching.
Both the USB DI Plus digital and analogue operating modes feature transformer balanced output isolation, eliminating earth loops and ground hum, as well as helping to remove extraneous interaction noise and distortion. According to ARX, this ensures ultra-low noise operation in harsh audio environments.
