ATH-M50RD adds colour to the mix

Audio-Technica has released a limited edition red version of its flagship ATH-M50 professional studio monitor headphones, the ATH-M50RD. The new release is based on input from end-users looking for an alternative to the ATH-M50’s existing colour schemes. Aside from the colour, the ATH-M50RD headphones offer the same comfort levels and technical specs as its standard counterparts.
The ATH-M50’s design was engineered to provide hours of maximum comfort in applications ranging from broadcast to studio/recording uses. The headphones feature a collapsible design for portability and storage. An OFC litz wire cable at the left earpiece terminates to a gold-plated ⅛-inch connector with included professional screw-on ¼-inch adapter.
The headphones employ Audio-Technica’s proprietary 45mm large-aperture drivers with neodymium magnet systems and CCAW voice coils and a closed-back cushioned earcup. In addition, the circumaural earpieces swivel 180-degrees for one-ear monitoring.
The ATH-M50RD joins the current line-up of ATH-M50 in black and ATH-M50WH in white.
