Atlona ships HDVS-200 Series

Comprising auto-switching extension and scaling products for Ethernet-enabled HDMI and VGA content, the HDBaseT-enabled HDVS-200 Series is now shipping from Atlona.
Included is the three-input AT-HDVS-200-TX switcher/transmitter and the AT-HDVS-200-RX receiver/scaler, described by the manufacturer as ‘designed to provide comprehensive and automatic control of A/V systems’, while expanding the input capabilities of Atlona’s 4K/UHD matrix switchers. In more detail, the AT-HDVS-200-TX offers two HDMI inputs, one VGA input and a VGA input with a 3.5mm audio connector. It extends video signals up to 4K/UHD at 60Hz with embedded audio to a distance of 100m.
Other features include auto switching between HDMI and VGA inputs, automatic projector on/off control, automatic display control of professional monitors and consumer TVs, and volume control and de-embedding of analogue audio. Remote control is supported via TCP/IP, RS-232 and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), and the switcher receives power from the scaler via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Finally, both devices can be used separately as I/O components in larger systems, with remote management via Atlona’s Management System software.
