Audient releases its iDentity

UK manufacturer Audient has launched a new compact recording interface in the form of the iDentity iD22. The interface features 2-in, 6-out ADAT inputs and outputs together with 24-bit/96kHz AD/DA converters, plus console-like monitor controller functionality.

Designed for DAW applications, the iD22 connects directly to a computer, monitors and microphones with the option to expand via ADAT. Other features include a main stereo output for critical listening with fully balanced outputs, alt stereo output for alternative loudspeakers and cue mixes, a headphone amplifier with an independent DA converter and three programmable function keys providing control over talkback, loudspeaker switching, sum to mono, polarity reverse and cue solo listen.
