Auralex offers ELiTE custom fabric system

Auralex Acoustics is offering the ELiTE (Engineered Listening & Theater Environment) custom fabric system (CFS) as an engineered turnkey acoustical treatments for bespoke project’s requirements. Each installation is custom-designed following pre-install co-ordination, then installed and fabricated on-site by authorised craftsmen.

The finished look of an ELiTE CFS system is a smooth fabric surface with all the acoustical materials hidden behind the system’s face. Treatments include an engineered combination of absorption, diffusion, reflection and bass trapping. A retention channel system is central to all ELiTE-CFS installations and offers a secure mounting of fabric whilst producing a clean finished edge with Class-A fire rating.

Also new is SonoFiber. This has been designed for projects requiring a Class-A fire rating without the aesthetic demands of designer treatments such as fabric-covered panels. The 25mm dense natural fibre acoustic absorptive panel reportedly offers significant advantages over traditional Class-A melamine foam alternatives. These include a lower density cost, sound absorption coefficients equal to or better than 50mm dense melamine products and a flexible form that does not puncture or break like melamine panels.

Finally, Auralex’s acoustical treatment technology has been combined with custom-printed images to produce SonicPrint acoustical panels. The panels help control reflected acoustical energy by optimising the acoustical architecture of a room without sacrificing aesthetics.
