Auralex reaches for the clouds

Acoustic treatment manufacturer Auralex Acoustics has announced new ProPanel and Studiofoam models.
New to the ProPanel series is the ProPanel Cloud, a horizontally hanging panel intended to help control and reduce sound reflections. Available in Obsidian (OBS) or Sandstone (SST) finishes, each individual panel measures 2-foot x 4-foot x 2-inches and is configurable in 4-foot x 4-foot, 4-foot x 6-foot and 4-foot x 8-foot sizes. The Cloud panels features a frameless design and include mounting hardware.
Also new from the manufacturer is SonoTech, a panel made from its Studiofoam absorption material and intended to provide acoustic treatment to home studios on a budget that need a more aesthetically pleasing design than other models in the series. The 2-inch thick panels are available in charcoal in a 2-foot x 2-foot format. Auralex states that the product’s melamine-free formula prevents it from crumbling with age.
