The AverCaster HD Duet Plus F239+ is a dual-channel H.264 encoder released by Avermedia that enables the recording of live HD video content while simultaneously broadcasting when in recording mode. The encoder accomplishes this by facilitating two individual video streams to be broadcast or recorded at once and with the device’s duet mode, can instead allow for multiple angles of a single live stream.
Up to two HDMI or component video sources with resolutions of up to 1920×1080 can be catered for at the same time. The encoder supports VoD playback when in recording mode, as well as multicasting and streaming services providers, including Facebook Live.
In addition to the recording and duet modes, the F239+ possesses splitter mode, which provides the functionality for a single stream to be broadcast in different bitrates or to support different protocols.
