Barco LiveDots C-series range adds C8

The Barco LiveDots C-Series range of LED displays has grown with the addition of the C8 panel, which can be used outdoors and offers a pixel pitch of 8.33mm plus 5,000 nits brightness.

Fully compatible with its stable-mates in the C-Series range, the C8 is described by the manufacturer as ‘suited for cross-rental applications’ and offering ‘a consistent brightness at all times, even over different batches’. It boasts a hermetically sealed and fanless design for improved image quality and easy installation, while clickable shaders are included and can be replaced in case of damage.

Powered by DX image processors, with 16-bit processing per colour, the C8’s ‘electronic backbone’ is reportedly identical to the C5, and the display can be controlled remotely via management software. Finally, automatic brightness adjustment is included via onboard light-sensors.
