Beyma aims high
Published: PRODUCTS

Spanish transducer manufacturer Beyma has designed three high frequency components in the form of the CD14Nd, CD14Fe and CD1S compression drivers. Featuring new phase plugs and motor structures together with PM4 material for the diaphragms, all three models have been optimised through finite element analysis (FEA). The CD14Nd (neodymium magnet) and the CD14Fe (ferrite) drivers feature a 1.4-inch exit and a 2.5-inch PM4 dome, whilst the CD1S has a 1-inch exit with a 1-inch PM4 diaphragm.
Additionally, the WL3Fe is a new compression driver designed for compact systems boasting a 3-inch height wave guide. Offering a 1.75-inch PM4 diaphragm, it features a specially adapted ferrite magnet for promoting correct vertical stacking for line array applications. New to the pleated diaphragm tweeters family, the TPL-75 was created for small and compact high performance applications such as studio monitoring, where low distortion and high frequency linearity is sought.
