Boardroom amplifier leads Chiayo launches

Designed for boardroom and meeting room applications, the AVA-500 AV amplifier from Chiayo is a half 19-inch rack width unit incorporating a 30W stereo Class-D amplifier and capable of producing 15W+15W RMS audio output (maximum music output 50W).

Audio inputs include mic in (F6.3mm jack), line in one (RCA) and line in two (XLR& 6.3mm connector), which all benefit from individual volume control. Other features include voice priority, tone control and 4- to 8-ohm speaker output.

Meanwhile, the 511 digital wireless tour guide system has been designed for a variety of uses including guided tours, language learning and interactive activities. Features include interactive press-to-talk buttons together with a mic-mix-line switch for individual or simultaneous speech and music. Operating at 2.4GHZ over a transmission range of up to 20m, the receivers incorporate warning LED button alerts in the event of any signal interruption. The built-in lithium battery incorporated in both the transmitter and the receiver provides up to seven hours operation time, which can then be recharged via the universal mini-USB charging port.

By combining four RR-2000 receivers and an RCC-2000 remote control centre, the Pro Wireless System can cover up to 90,000 square metres. The dual channel receiver system can change frequency remotely by courtesy of the RCC-2000, which can also monitor the RR-2000 in operation. One 24V DC switching adaptor is capable of powering the entire system. Each half rack width receiver comes with an LED display.

Finally, the Modular Multimedia System, or MMS Pro, is a presentation cart designed for picture, speech and musical presentations. The portable wooden cabinet incorporates a stereo mixing amplifier and Class-D amplifiers, but its modules can also optionally integrate 8-inch subwoofers and wireless microphone systems into its design.
