Bose processors and amplifiers adopt Dante
Published: PRODUCTS
Bose Professional Systems ControlSpace processors and PowerMatch amplifiers are now Dante compatible following the launch of three expansion cards.
First is an 8x8 card for PowerMatch, providing up to eight audio channels from a Dante network. For monitoring purposes, up to eight fold-back channels can also be transmitted back onto the Dante network. Next is a 16x16 option for Bose’s single-rack fixed-analogue ControlSpace processors, including the ESP-880 (8x8 analogue I/O), ESP-1240 (12x4) and ESP-4120 (4x12). The card is described as slipping into the rear-panel network slot on the DSP chassis for quick installation with two screws. Finally, another 16x16 channel option, the ControlSpace ESP-00 Dante network card, is compatible with the manufacturer’s ESP-00 II, ESP-00 and ESP-88 processors.
All of the Bose Dante cards feature configurable secondary ports for modes supporting daisy-chaining or redundancy. The new version of ControlSpace Designer v4.0 software also enables configuration of PowerMatch and ControlSpace products using the cards.
