C15 floor monitor added to TW Audio range

German loudspeaker specialist TW Audio has added a floor monitor to its range with the launch of the C15, a two-way coaxial wedge monitor boasting a 15-inch woofer derived from the same horn as used in the company’s M12 and M15 enclosures, plus a 1.4-inch high frequency driver.
The arrival of the C15 follows long-term demand for the manufacturer to add a monitor to its range of line array systems, portable enclosures and multi-purpose speakers, and it has been designed with a rugged construction and heavy-duty exterior grille that lends itself to the touring sector. Nevertheless, the monitor is deliberately low profile, described by TW Audio as ‘inconspicuous, elegant and beautifully matched’.
In terms of the C15’s performance, meanwhile, the company has included ‘generously-dimensioned bass reflex channels’ to ensure high definition low frequency reproduction. Other features include a nominal dispersion angle of 70-degrees x 55-degrees, and a frequency range of 55Hz to 17,000Hz. The monitor also includes ergonomic handles for easy handling, aircargo doublestud fittings and a stand flange for pole mounting, allowing owners to use it as a top unit should they wish.
