Calypso gets end-to-end encryption

Security has come to the fore with the latest update to Haivision’s Calypso enterprise video platform. For houses of worship looking to privately stream services, the platform now offers end-to-end encryption from encoder to player. Haivision states that it is the only enterprise video solution to offer this functionality.
The latest release reportedly allows streaming of on-demand and live videos to any device from any location. Haivision’s partnership with Microsoft Azure and AWS Marketplace, reportedly allows HOWs to leverage hybrid cloud deployments and deliver secure, live video to internet connected congregants without the need to deploy additional hardware.
The manufacturer also states that it has simplified the scheduling tool. This now offers step-by-step scheduling and sharing of workflows. In addition, users can reportedly stream single or multiple sources simultaneously, broadcasting multiple camera angles, or people plus content.
