Canford breaks out with Cat-5

Available with four or eight way Cat-5 connectivity and constructed in rugged steel with metal end plates and bottom skid bars for added protection, the breakout box has been designed to withstand touring fatigue and abuse.

Neutrik etherCON connectors come as standard, which also allow the use of standard RJ45 patchcords. The optical fibre boxes use the same construction, with an opticalCON Quad end connection that can be custom made with any combination of ST, LC, SC or opticalCON DUO connectors.

Meanwhile, to further assist the deployment of Cat-5 cable, Canford Audio has also designed four and eight way multi-core cables. The Cat 5E-F-M comes with numbered cores to aid with identifications and is available in 500m reels.
