Chandler Limited and Sonnox plugin to UAD

With the update of its UAD Software to v8.6, Universal Audio has announced a couple of plugins exclusive to its UAD hardware and Apollo interfaces. These plugins come in the form of the Chandler Limited Curve Bender Mastering EQ, developed by Softube, and the Sonnox Oxford Limiter v2.
The Chandler Limited Curve Bender Mastering EQ plugin is an emulation based on the EMI TG12345 desk from Abbey Road Studios, expanding the sonics of the EMI device into a mastering EQ. Softube has reportedly included the filter inductors, germanium transistors, transformers and circuit nonlinearities, mimicking the circuits of the Curve Bender.
Meanwhile, Sonnox Oxford Limiter v2 features the latest version of the plugin’s inter-sample peak (ISP) detection and is designed to increase volume, density and track presence without compromising on transients or dynamics. It also includes high-quality dither and noise shaping options, the ability to fix reconstruction errors while conforming to the industry’s true peak measurement standard with its Auto Comp functionality, and attack, release and variable soft-knee professional mastering grade peak limiting capabilities.
