The MPA-1 dual channel microphone preamplifier’s input and output gain controls ensure engineers can control the signal from clean and transparent, to pleasant colouration due to the MPA-1’s output stage and Cinemag output transformer.
Featuring transformerless input circuitry and transformer balanced output, the preamplifier is fitted with constantly variable high pass and low pass filters that encompass the entire bandwidth of the device. Features such as the -6dB pad, +48VDC phantom power, and phase reverse work together to give the engineer further control of the signal and flexibility.
The MPA-1 has a minimum gain of 20Dbm and a maximum gain of 76Db. It has a frequency response of 10Hz – 100kHz (+/- 3dB), and an output Impedance of 600 Ohms (transformer balanced).
