Christie adds to Vive Audio lineup

Christie has once again expanded its Vive Audio catalogue of cinema speakers with the introduction of LS Series four-way screen channel and two-way surround speakers for small-to-mid-sized auditoriums. As with other Vive Audio cabinets, the LS Series models incorporate HF planar ribbon driver technology with the goal of offering low distortion and tight transient response characteristics and are being marketed as a competitive price alternative to the flagship Vive Audio LA Series.
There are currently six models in the Vive Audio LS Series lineup. These include the LS1 and LS2 screen channel loudspeakers, as well as the LS1S, LS2S, LS4S and LS5S surround channel loudspeakers. Rotatable waveguides on the screen channel models support deployment in low profile situations or for use as corner surrounds in larger 5.1 applications, while deployment is aided by the single-cabinet design.
