Coemar celebrates its 80th with five launches

Italian lighting specialist Coemar is celebrating its 80th birthday with no fewer than five additions to its product range, including new models in its LiteLed Series.

First is the MoonLite LED VW 3000/6500 K, described as a ‘high efficiency panel’ using LED technology to deliver a low-heat, eco-friendly 70W lighting solution that can be positioned close to the illuminated subjects. The panel offers a 40-degree beam and a range of output from ‘cool white daylight’ (6,500K) to ‘warm white tungsten’ (3,000K).

Next is the ParLite LED Strobe, which features seven individually controlled bright LED rings capable of alternating between full strobe modes with frontal circular effects to a standard wash effect for flood illumination (with 120-degree beam). The fixture is housed in aluminium and carries an IP65 rating.

Meanwhile the C4 LED Strobe is intended as a digital alternative to traditional analogue strobes. The 350W, RGBW C4 reportedly uses ‘indirect illumination to guarantee a fully uniform colour-mix for the perfect strobe and scroller replacement’. The fixture is compatible with DMX though presets can also be used.

Coemar’s Infinity series has also expanded with two additions including the Infinity ACL XS, which becomes the smallest option in the range thanks to newly-designed optics and a 330W lamp. Despite its size, however, the fixture reportedly delivers a light intensity comparable to 1,500W fixtures, plus a variable beam size from 1.7-degrees to 3.3-degrees, fast pan and tilt, moonflower effects and a full wash mode with a beam angle of up to 35-degrees.

Finally, the Infinity Spot L is a 1,000W lamp designed for larger stages but in a compact body. According to the manufacturer the Spot L features HD quality projection, dimming and CMY, a fast zoom mode (1:5 in 0.4s), ‘superior morphing effects’, and a digital ballast technology (with PFC) inclusive of full diagnostics. The effects engine is equipped with two gobo wheels, rotating prisms, a ‘tight and dynamic’ iris, proportional frost, and CCT control. An internal display battery and Artnet are also available as options.
