Coloured sleeves for AX cable

Amphenol Audio’s AX series of XLR cables are now available in coloured sleeves and back-shells, for which there are some 200 different combinations available.
Applications include length identification by colour or a company colour, which can assist personnel in collection and theft prevention. Non-technical staff can also be guided to insert cables into the right outlets by colour identification.
The AX series is currently available in resistor colour codes of black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey and white. Custom marking is also possible with identification numbers in addition to a custom printed company logo on the sleeve.
