Three new models catering to single display solutions have been added to Crestron’s line of all-in-one DigitalMedia 3-Series Presentation Systems (DMPS3). The new models all features an integrated 3-Series Control System, analogue and digital A/V switching, a 4K scaler and LAN connectivity.
Aimed at small rooms, the DMPS3-4K-50 enables users to connect local sources to a local display, while the DMPS3-4K-100-C is designed to connect local sources to an extended display. The DMPS3-4K-150-C is said to be ideal for connecting remote sources to an extended display. All three models feature built-in .AV Framework technology, which provides features including auto-switching, plug-and-play installation with Crestron Connect It cable caddies, automatic display on/off via CEC and intelligent connectivity with Crestron AirMedia presentations gateway for wireless BYOD capability. Using the framework via a web browser, integrators can also remotely select sources and displays, add a touchscreen and automatically generate the GUI, add a Crestron MP-B1 pushbutton controller and configure and label its buttons, add an occupancy sensor or click the Fusion software check box to get basic room data, such as occupancy, display on/off, source selection.
Also joining the Digital Media series are two HDBaseT compatible transmitters enabling the long-distance transmission of HDCP 2.2 protected 4K content. Both the 4K DM-TX-4K-202-C and DM-TX-4K-302-C are capable of transmitting 4K and HD A/V signals long distance to a room display, DM switcher or DigitalMedia Presentation System, and also function as transmitters and 2 x 1 and 3 x 1 switchers, respectively. Both systems provide two independent 4K HDMI inputs to connect to mobile devices, computers, and A/V sources with resolutions up to UHD and DCI 4K. The DM-TX-4K-302-C adds VGA and analogue audio inputs. All inputs reportedly feature auto-detection for plug-and-play simplicity, and can be configured to switch automatically or be controlled through a Crestron control system.
