Dante breakout box from Four Audio
Published: PRODUCTS
Audinate and German OEM partner Four Audio have jointly developed the DBS1, which is a 2-channel breakout box built on the Dante Ultimo solution. Its metal housing is smaller than 9.5-inches and features two balanced symmetrical analogue inputs with programmable sensitivity (-46 to +14dBu), switchable 48V phantom power, a low cut filter and 118dB of dynamic range. The two balanced analogue outputs deliver a maximum output of 14dBu.
Four Audio has also made two new additions to the DBO1 breakout box, which previously offered eight analogue outputs and an optional four AES outputs. The new configuration offers four balanced symmetrical analogue inputs from -46 to +14 dBu and either 48V phantom power or ICP constant current supply. The DBO1 with ICP supply has been designed for industrial measurement applications with many widely distributed sensors. It enables the connection of measurement microphones, piezo transducers, and accelerometers to a sensor network over Ethernet, allowing remote measurements over large distances.
