Dante-enabled broadcast audio routing interfaces from NTP Technologies
Published: PRODUCTS
NTP Technology’s Dante-enabled Penta 720 and 721 are broadcast audio routing interfaces that place a direct focus on audio-over-IP.
Beginning with the Penta 720, this is a 2U modular audio interface designed to provide embedded audio inputs/outputs and analogue-to-digital or digital-to-analogue conversion for new or existing NTP routing systems. Designed for use in television or radio studios, outside broadcast vehicles and in public-event venues, it is equipped with eight channel AES3 input/output channels, MADI, two Dante IP Audio Ethernet in/outs and an Avid Pro Tools interface.
In contrast, the Penta 721 is a more compact 1U digital audio interface designed for standalone use in recording studios, radio stations and stage venues. It takes on the same basic input/output configuration as the 720, and also includes a mini module slot that can house an optional 2xSFP MADI/HL I/O optical interface or multi mode MADI I/O optical interface.
