DC-96 line
Published: PRODUCTS

The most recent addition to Milab’s microphone family is the side-fire, transformerless large-diaphragm DC-96C.
Designed principally for studio work, but also described as useful in live applications, the DC-96C is the latest version of the DC-96 series, originally released in 1967. It has been updated and shares most of its components – including the capsule with its rectangular diaphragm – with the DC-196. Like previous DC-96 versions, it is cardioid only and has a single layer mesh grid. Hand built in Sweden, the microphone offers 12dB(A) self noise, 144dB maximum SPL handling and a 12dB attenuation pad.
The mic is suited to a wide range of instruments, including studio vocals, acoustic guitar and piano, hi-hats and overheads and guitar amplifiers, among other applications.
