Digigram announces Iqoya VMote20

Described as a ‘massive update’ to its IP audio codec for journalists in remote situations, Digigram has released the IQQYA V*Mote 2.0 which allows users to edit and save multiple connection profiles, thereby matching different real-life network situations with optimised, custom latency/audio quality compromises.
The manufacturer describes the Iqoya V*Mote as ‘the perfect companion to AoIP production intercom’, and ‘a true advantage’ for broadcast professionals involved in complex setups, providing they comply to the ECN-I3P (EBU Tech 3347) recommendation. It is also keen to highlight the fact that the updated V*Mote now offers the opportunity to establish links to and from Iqoya*Mobile, its iPhone counterpart, as with any other third-party N/ACIP-compatible IP codec.
The Iqoya V*Mote 2.0 features 64-bit compatibility with the latest version of Microsoft Windows OS, and runs with a 100 per cent software licence to replace the previously required hardware dongle.
