DigiLink Media Transport Platform expands with new IP Gateway

Artel Video Systems has designed the DLC450 IP Gateway for HD/SD/ASI and 1GigE Transport to meet growing demand as more of its customers reportedly migrate to IP-based solutions. The DLC450 expands the IP capabilities of the DigiLink Media Transport Platform by transporting signals over 10G Ethernet networks.
It supports auto-sensing of standards-based and broadcast-quality HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI video formats. The gateway device makes use of SMPTE 2022-1/2/5/6 IP encapsulation as well as optional Forward Error Correction (FEC) algorithms when integrated with DigiLink platform, which is designed to supply flexible configurations to increase the reliability in performance and minimise latency. DLC450 also includes a 1GigE IP interface that enables end users to bridge IP data.
