The Denon DN-F400 solid state audio playback system has been designed to deliver music or announcements in public facilities requiring continuous-playback, repeated-programmed audio messaging or quickly triggered announcements.
The optional RC-F400S remote controller features a large LCD display and control panel, including 20 hot buttons for instant playback of audio or sound effects. When used together, the DN-F400 and RC-F400S are a cost-effective alternative to sound FX playback systems or CART players, CD or Minidisk units. The DN-F400’s use of the SD and SDHC card formats, allows up to 999 files per 32GB card to be stored, so that particular audio files are ready to play at the touch of a button. With the large LCD display on the RC-400S remote control, up to 20 files can be saved and assigned to hot buttons that will start each audio file from the beginning every time. The DN-F400 is housed in a single RU half-space package, which can play mono and stereo uncompressed WAV (44.1/48 kHz) and MP3 files. Other features include a tape-recorder style control panel, balanced and unbalanced audio outputs, external RS-232c and GPIO controls and an OLED display.
The F450R and DN-F650R solid-state audio recorders record and read MP3 files and uncompressed WAV files to and from SD or SDHC cards. Housed in 1U high enclosures, both players are ideal for audio recording in a multitude of applications. The DN-F650R also records to USB drives and comes with RS-232c and USB keyboard control. A host of inputs and outputs such as AES/EBU and balanced XLR are included, whilst playback features also include ±12% pitch control. Additionally, when used with the optional RC-F400 remote controller which features a large LCD display, the DN-F650 can be used as a control unit for instant playback of audio or sound effects via its hot-buttons.
