Drawmer’s perfect partners

Drawmer’s latest range of stereo power amplifiers, the MPA-90 and the CPA-50, have been designed as the perfect companions for the manufacturer’s studio monitors.
The MPA-90 partners with various pre-amps, including the company’s MC1.1, MC2.1 and MC3.1 monitors, and has been designed for powering both passive studio monitors and home Hi-Fi setups. It is a Class-D stereo power amplifier, delivering 90W per channel into 4-ohms or, when in mono, acts as an 180W into 8-ohms monoblock. The MPA-90 also boasts thermal, overload and power up/down protection, as well as an output clipping indicator. Additionally, it has switchable balanced XLR and unbalanced Phono inputs.
Meanwhile, the CPA-50 is built to partner with any passive speakers where the higher power of the MPA-90 is not required, including Drawmer’s passive Studio Cube Monitors. Again, it is a Class-D amplifier this time delivering 25W per channel into 8-ohms, with 50W per channel into 4-ohms. The CPA-50 works in stereo and bridge-mono modes.
