DT 290 series

The beyerdynamic DT 290 series headsets have undergone a major makeover. The DT 290 series now offers a completely revised pivoting gooseneck microphone with further improved immunity against Radio Frequency (RFI) caused by GSM, DECT, UMTS, Tetra and others. The newly designed microphone boom ensures that the microphone is always where the operator needs it. The pivot mechanism delivers free movement of the boom with the ability for it to be adjusted to any required position, from left to right or even above the head for standby operation. In addition, versions with integrated limiters are now also available.

beyerdynamic professional series headphones and headsets are now available with an integrated level limiter. This new option, available throughout the range guarantees that an operator’s hearing is protected when the headphone is used over a prolonged period. Designed to meet health and safety criteria, the manufacturer has created a passive circuitry which achieves an audio response similar to that of a VCA limiter. beyerdynamic’s two-phase limiting concept incorporates a decrease of the audio signal by 6dB then a protective limit of the audio signal. The limiter threshold can be defined freely by the customer when ordering. Besides the professional headphones of the DT 250 and DT 770 PRO series, the DT 290 and DT 790 series headsets are now also available with an integrated limiter.
