Dynacord’s PowerMate 600-3 boasts high power from a lightweight unit

The PowerMate 600-3 is the latest powered mixer from Dynacord. Boasting a Class-D stereo power amplifier with a total output of over 2,000W, the feature-packed system weighs just 9kg and is designed for use in all professional applications where few channels yet a high amplifier output is required.

The feature set of the PowerMate 600-3 includes low-noise and low-hum, electronically balanced XLR microphone inputs, stereo line channels, a digital audio interface (USB port), a PC-Midi interface and a master section that features a nine-band master stereo equaliser.

The PowerMate 600-3’s professionally equipped live mixer boasts eight channel strips, whilst an integrated four I/0 USB 2.0 audio interface with an OLED display has been included to make the device suitable for live and studio recording as well as the playback of recordings and interval music.

By incorporating ‘unique’ speaker protection technology, this allows for optimal and operationally safe adjustment of the continuous power output of the PowerMate's power amplifiers to any connected speakers. This technology permits individual adjustment to the speakers used (even those with modest power handling capacities) whilst retaining the full range of the amplifiers. Additionally, the manufacturer has also been careful to limit the maximum power at the output in order to avoid any thermal overload damage that could occur.

A key feature is the inclusion of an extensive effects section, which includes two independent programmable effects processors, two 100 live-optimised factory presets, two 20-user memories, an LPN filter, remote control via Midi and tap delay.

A Bag-600PM carrying bag is available as an option with the mixer, as is an RMK-PM600-3 mounting kit for rack installation.
