Dynaudio is targeting small spaces with its Lyd series of personal reference monitors.
Manufactured in Denmark, each bass reflex cabinet comprises a Class-B bi-amped design boasting 96kHz/24-bit signal paths, 28mm soft dome tweeters and differently-sized MSP drive units. DSP options with two tuning modes for different setups are included, together with sound balance filters for tailoring the frequency response and Bass Extension for moving the bass cut-off to the preferred position.
Weighing 5.7kg, the Lyd-5 operates within a 50Hz to 22kHz frequency response with a crossover set 5,200Hz. The Lyd-7 can operate down to 45Hz, whilst the 8-inch Lyd-8 model extends to 40Hz. All three monitors are equipped with XLR balanced inputs and RCA unbalanced outputs.
