Edius enhanced for productivity and creativity

Grass Valley is aiming to make video editing more productive and more creative with the 8.3 update for its Edius platform. The upgrade reportedly offers a variety of usability improvements to users of the manufacturer’s Edius Pro and Edius Workgroup.
More specifically, the new features added to the nonlinear editing software include: high-quality slow motion using optical flow interpolation; the bin now shows timecode information; there are more ‘Burn-to-disc’ options for DVD and Blu-ray and more proxy resolution options. In addition, the manufacturer has made GV browser improvements, GUI enhancements and there is now F-Log (Fujifilm) colour space.
