Enhanced wireless systems

Audio Technica has enhanced its wireless 2000 Series systems with several new updates, including the ATW-R2100a receiver, the ATW-T210a body-pack transmitter and the ATW-T220a handheld transmitter.
The ATW-R2100a receiver features automatic frequency scanning, while a pre-coordinated integral channel plan allows for simultaneous operation of any of the 10 channels in a given location, in one of two UHF frequency ranges. True diversity operation selects the better signal from the two receiver sections, thus reducing dropouts, while an advanced tone lock adjustable squelch system combats interference. Receiver features include balanced XLR-type and unbalanced ΒΌ-inch output connections, ground-lift switch on XLR-type output, metal receiver construction, a rack mount kit and detachable UHF receiver antennas, a field-replaceable body-pack transmitter antenna, high-pass filter, soft-touch controls and an LCD display.
Meanwhile, the ATCS-60 IR conference system has been added to the Engineered Sound range. Described as a fully self-contained wireless distributed audio system, the ATCS-60 IR uses infrared for benefits such as security, high noise immunity and low demands on power.
Using portable ATCS-M60 wireless microphone units, locations and system configurations can be easily changed. Functions include simultaneous interpretation for one native language and up to three foreign languages, automatic camera tracking to follow the switching of microphones and optional minutes recording. Included within the ATCS-60 system are ATCS-M60 delegate units, ATCS-60MIC standard-length gooseneck microphones, ATCS-L60MIC long microphones, ATCS-A60 IR transmitter/receivers, ATCS-C60 master control units, ATCS-D60 distributors, ATCS-B60 battery chargers, ATCS-C60MAG-REG software, DMQ-60 monaural earphones and LI-240 lithium-ion batteries.
