Having officially launched the Eurocom group of products at this year’s InfoComm, Behringer Install Group (BIG) has unveiled the initial complement of products that will make up its offering to the fixed installation market.
The Eurocom line features proprietary new designs intended to ensure BIG equipment delivers a significantly smaller carbon footprint. Included is the SN2000 Series of paging and BGM solutions, comprising six integrated mixer-amplifiers, each with three mic/line and two music/program inputs in a variety of output power options. The series also boasts many features including high/low frequency EQ, variable voice-activated muting, dual amplifier channels, dual-zone output and pre-amp I/O. Equipped with switch-mode power supplies and Class D amplifiers, the two-channel models can simultaneously drive 4Ω loads and 70/100V distributed speaker networks. A new line of ceiling- and wall-mount loudspeakers also augments the Eurocom SN2000 range.
Meanwhile, the Eurocom line has been further boosted by the availability of the MA4000 and MA6000 series of integrated mixer-amplifiers, mixers and complementary power amplifiers. With a focus on sustainability, both product families reportedly employ high efficiency electronics and are aimed at enabling LEED certified applications.
The MA4000 series includes integrated mixer-amplifiers, a rack mountable mixer and complementary power amplifiers at various power levels, with features such as universal inputs that accept microphone, line or auxiliary sources. Designed for integration into distributed speech and music systems, the MA4000 series integrates extensive signal routing, priority muting, a dedicated paging input and both record and zone two outputs.
Features of the MA6000 series include eight universal inputs with individual two-band equalisation, direct outputs and adaptive proportional gain automatic mixing for use in speech reinforcement systems that can be expanded to accommodate up to 32 inputs. In addition, four auxiliary inputs are provided with front panel selectors. Equipped with remote volume control, source selection and system power, the MA6000 series is aimed at conference centres, courtrooms and hotel meeting rooms.
Both the MA4000 and MA6000 series include Dual-Mono technology, reportedly providing two independent power amplifier channels within each enclosure. One channel is dedicated to low impedance loads, while the other simultaneously drives 70/100V loads at equal power.
