Extron stabilises digital signals with DVI 110 Plus
Published: PRODUCTS
Extron Electronics’ DVI 110 Plus is a DVI signal regenerator and audio extender with EDID Minder. The tool retimes and reshapes marginal or noisy DVI-D signals at the source, ensuring a strong, stable digital signal.
With its compact, architectural-mount form factor, the DVI 110 Plus allows digital signal regeneration and EDID management to be placed where it is needed most, whether that be on a wall, in a floor box, or in a tabletop or desktop surface. The DVI 110 Plus also accepts unbalanced computer stereo audio and converts it to balanced line level stereo audio, eliminating noise usually associated with unbalanced audio over long cable runs.
EDID Minder maintains continuous EDID communication with the source and ensures proper video output even if the display device is off. The DVI 110 Plus is available in Decora-style and AAP form factors, and is particularly suited for improving system performance by eliminating signal noise and reducing jitter at the output of the source.
Extron has also recently introduced three new DMP 128 digital matrix processors employing Audinate’s Dante network connectivity.
The three new DMP 128 AT models provide efficient scalability for creating larger audio matrixes over a local area network using standard Internet Protocols. A built-in four-port Gigabit switch provides direct interconnection of multiple DMP 128 AT units.
DMP 128 processors offer a configuration approach to DSP designed to simplify mixing, routing, conferencing, and room optimisation. Quick and intuitive configuration using the DSP Configurator Software allows the DMP 128 to be installed in very little time, with easy-to-learn adjustments that can be heard in real-time.
