Firmware update expands Vertige control

Analog Way has updated its Vertige remote console to version 02.02 firmware, granting users the ability to control popular upstream matrix routers including models from Extron, Lightware, Kramer, Blackmagic Design and others.

The update allows dynamic routing of video signals to the inputs of LiveCore devices. The French manufacturer adds that if a specific matrix router is not included in the provided default set then it can generate a custom descriptor for importing to the Vertige via USB. Another feature within the update covers the configuration and control of confidence screens.

A further update, v03, is set to follow with support for LiveCore features such as 4K inputs, layer cut and fill, advanced layer management, and monitoring widget layout customisation. Described as a step in a broader strategy to develop Vertige as a show controller, the release will also expand the product’s operation environment to encompass the remote control of external IP devices.
