Epson has added five entry-level projectors to its catalogue in the shape of the EB-U04, EB-X36, EB-W31, EB-X31 and EB-S31. All five models boast the manufacturer’s 3LCD technology to reduce the ‘rainbow effect’ commonly associated with 1-chip models.
Of the five, the EB-U04 offers WUXGA resolution with 3,000 lumens of output; the EB-X36 is XGA with 3,600 lumens; the EB-W31 is WXGA, delivering 3,200 lumens while the EB-X31 is XGA with 3,200 lumens. Finally the EB-S31 is SVGA and delivers 3,200 lumens.
Other features include HDMI, VGA and LAN connectivity plus compatibility with Epson’s iProjection app, which allows users to connect smart devices to a projector by scanning a QR code on the projected screen. A horizontal keystone adjuster is also onboard. Finally, the projectors’ lamps are rated to last for 10,000 hours in eco mode.
