First Kramer 4K distribution amp

With a maximum data rate of 10.2Gbps (3.4Gpbs per channel), Kramer’s VW-4HM is a 1:4 4K distribution amplifier for HDMI signals. Using the manufacturer’s proprietary technology it is able to relock and equalise the signal – extending travel distances – before distributing it to four identical outputs with resolutions up to Quad HD (3840x2160) at 24Hz with 8-, 10-, 12-bit colour, and 30Hz with 8-bit colour.

The VM−4HN supports Deep Colour, x.v.ColorTM, Lip Sync, HDMI uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS−HD, and CEC, with signal. The unit is HDCP compliant and features the manufacturer’s I−EDIDProT, an intelligent EDID handling and processing algorithm providing Plug and Play operation for HDMI systems. 

An addition to Quad HD support, the unit can handle WUXGA (1920x1200) up to 12-bit colour depth, and 1080p at all colour bit depths. The DigiTools enclosure features 5 HDMI connectors (1 in, 5 out) as well as individually signal indicators, a 5VDC power connector (adapter included) and an EDID setup switch.
