Furman’s first BlueBOLT compatible power supply targets EMEA

Furman has released the F1500-UPS E, and uninterruptible power supply specifically designed for A/V installations within EMEA countries. The power supply provides professional-level protection, filtration and backup, combined with features engineered specifically for A/V systems.

The power supply is the company’s first BlueBOLT-compatible 220-240V product. The battery backup and power-conditioning device provides 1500VA of sine wave battery backup and features the American manufacturer’s non-sacrificial SMP surge/spike protection circuit, Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT). The unit may be controlled remotely via RS-232, or via TCP/IP with the addition of the BlueBOLT-CV1 network interface card (sold separately).

The addition of the BlueBOLT-CV1 card allows outlet banks to be turned on, off or rebooted in real time or on a schedule and energy consumption to be tracked.  Power and energy alerts can notify an installer or end user of a condition at the install site, and devices on the network can be pinged and rebooted automatically.
