Audix’s newly designed Fusion series consists of four models the f2, f5 and f6 dynamics, and the f9 condenser.
Audix’s newly designed Fusion series consists of four models the f2, f5 and f6 dynamics, and the f9 condenser. Each of the microphones is available individually or collectively in the FP4, FP5 and FP7 packages.
Suited to both live and studio applications, the f2, f5 and f6 feature low-mass diaphragms, high-output neodymium magnets, extremely directional hypercardioid polar patterns, high SPL handling, precision cast zinc alloy bodies and durable steel mesh grilles. The f9 condenser model is designed for overheads, cymbals and acoustic instruments, and features a 16mm gold vapour diaphragm with a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz, a cardioid polar pattern, and a dynamic range of 115dB.
The Fusion packs are available in three configurations: The FP4 consists of one f6 (kick), one f5 (snare), and two f2 (toms). The FP5 consists of one f6, one f5, and three f2s. The FP7 consists of one f6, one f5, three f2s, and two f9 (hi-hat/overheads).
